Welcome new members!

We are thrilled to welcome 13 new members to St. Martin on February 19: Dan and Kelly Mohrman and daughters Makayla and Allison (age 7); Mike and Lisa Moeller and daughter Kasey (age 9), Paul and Sharon Haffen and kids Josh (23), Luke (21) and Paula (19); and welcoming back Laurie and Tim McGrath.

Join us at worship, and afterwards for a potluck, and help us welcome the newest additions to the St. Martin community!

Painting is nearly complete

One of the blessings of our longtime relationship with Scout Troop 110 is that Eagle Scout projects sometimes take place on our property. One such project is nearly completed. Come check out the new paint job in the education wing - it's looking very spiffy! Thank you to the scouts and to all the men from St. Martin who helped bring this project to fruition.

 Confirmation is Getting Underway

We will be starting confirmation instruction on February 11, 2012. This class includes both Bethlehem and St. Martin, and is a two-year program. Please be keeping the students (and their teachers!) in your prayers as we begin learning together about the Bible, the Catechism, and about faith.

Winter Weekend for Youth!
Winter Weekend for youth grades 6-12 is just around the corner: March 2-4. The theme this year is "God is Our Greatest Superhero," and will focus on images of God we see in pop culture. It promises to be a fun time with other youth in our conference (the Greater Rochester Area). Don't miss it! Check out the website for more info:

 First Communion - March 11

We will have 9 kiddos having their first communion in worship in March 11. We will spent March 10 learning about what communion means to us and to the church, and baking bread for Sunday's worship. Be sure to be there to support these kids as they partake for the first time in this special sacrament that brings us all together around Christ's table, and stay afterward for some cake!
