"Come and see..."

Welcome to St. Martin Lutheran Church! Whatever the path is that brought you to this website, we are glad you found us. Our purpose statement is that “we are a gathering of faithful disciples in Christ who witness God’s message to others through learning, teaching, serving, and worship.”

We try to live this out in a number of ways; you can see many of them throughout this website, especially on our "about us" page. Have a look! Come and see how St. Martin might be able to touch your life, your heart, your soul.

We’d love to meet you! If you have any questions, or are interested in becoming more involved with the ministries that are offered here, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We would love to do what we can to help you feel at home here. Meanwhile, enjoy your journey through our website!

In Christ’s peace,

Pastor Johanna (Johnson) Rehbaum

Lenten Prayer Program (Wednesdays)

We have a wonderful and diverse program set up to help us expand our understanding of prayer, with a line-up of local experts leading us. Each session begins with soup at 5:30, then a workshop from 6-7pm, followed by Holden Evening Prayer.

March 26: Praying in Color

Have you ever wanted to pray for someone, but couldn’t find the words? Do you think better when your hands are busy? Does your mind wander during prayer? Have you ever doodled? Then this form of prayer is for you! You do not need to be an artist to pray in color. Bring your favorite coloring utensils. Great for all ages!

April 2: Praying in Difficult Times

Sometimes when we need prayer the most, we can’t find the words – when we are grieving, or in the midst of transition, or feeling lost. Hospital chaplain Nancy Travers will discuss with us how during these times we might find a way to connect with God. (@ Bethlehem)

April 9: Praying through the Arts

The arts provide a wonderful way for us to connect with God not only with our heads, but with our deeper being. Rev. Eileen Borduin Vanderzwan, a DMin candidate in worship and the arts, will help us find some ways we can use these gifts from God to expand our worship and prayer. (@ Bethlehem)
